Why Roz

Five reasons to put Roz on a call with your buyers

01

I built a business where every sale mattered

I spent almost 20 years building and growing my own fashion business. Every lead, every sale and every customer mattered, because the business only grew if I could create opportunities, build relationships, negotiate, sell, retain accounts and deliver on what I promised.

  • Founded and ran Deshabillé for 20 years across DTC, wholesale and marketplace channels
  • Owned every commercial outcome personally — there was no separate sales team to fall back on
  • Built the business from zero to a genuine multi-channel retail operation
Why it matters to you

As a former founder, I will treat your business like my own. Your success is my success — I know what it costs to win a customer, and I know what it costs to lose one.

02

I have closed and grown major commercial partnerships

The biggest commercial relationships in my business weren't handed to me. I negotiated them personally, and then did the harder job of growing and keeping them.

  • Negotiated the David Jones wholesale partnership — orders of $100K–$150K, twice a year, sustained over several years
  • Negotiated The Iconic marketplace partnership, growing the account to more than $500K in annual sales at its peak
  • Negotiated the Zalora Asia expansion, opening Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore
  • Grew the wholesale footprint to 150+ retail stockists nationally
Why it matters to you

This is the part of the job that matters most after the contract is signed: earning trust, influencing the people who make the decisions, negotiating the next opportunity, and turning one deal into an ongoing relationship instead of a one-off sale.

03

I can sell complex, high-value solutions

My later work moved into enterprise software, business systems, automation and digital transformation. I ran the full cycle myself — discovery, quoting, pitching — then stayed on to project manage delivery once the client said yes.

  • Led discovery workshops across finance, operations and executive stakeholders
  • Quoted and pitched projects ranging from $5K to $177K, closing deals up to $100K and securing stakeholder buy-in throughout
  • Worked across multiple stakeholders to align a solution before it was ever pitched
  • Project managed delivery after the close — not just the pitch, the outcome
Why it matters to you

This proves I can sit inside a sophisticated offer, ask intelligent questions, and connect what you sell to the buyer's actual problem — selling consultatively, not leaning on a script or pressure, and staying accountable for what happens after the yes.

04

I build trust and influence decisions

Across 20 years I've worked with founders, executives, retail buyers, manufacturers, offshore partners and enterprise stakeholders — people with very different priorities, all of whom I needed on side. Some of that trust-building was repair work — stepping in where developers and C-suite stakeholders had stopped understanding each other, and rebuilding the relationship enough to get the project back on track.

  • Listening carefully enough to identify the real objection, not just the stated one
  • Repaired strained client relationships caused by breakdowns between technical teams and executive stakeholders
  • Influencing outcomes without formal authority over the people in the room
  • Coached technically-minded founders on the commercial side of running their business — pricing, positioning, growth decisions
Why it matters to you

This is the skill set that a high-ticket sale actually runs on: trust built quickly, questions asked with intent, and enough judgement to read what's really holding a buyer back.

05

I help you break through the ceiling

I got into business because I love that there is no ceiling. Whether it's a business with an operational bottleneck or a buyer stuck on a decision, I'm quick to spot what's actually holding things up — and I don't stop pushing until we've moved past it. That's what I've spent my career doing, and it's the same approach I bring to every sales conversation.

  • Diagnosing the real issue before proposing a solution
  • Helping prospects move past indecision toward a confident yes — or a confident no
  • Protecting the company's reputation by not selling past what can be delivered
  • Caring about fulfilment and the client's outcome, not just the close
Why it matters to you

I'm not chasing any sale — I'm looking for sustainable growth, for you and for the people who buy from you. That's what makes the relationship last past the first invoice.
